La Cave à Fromage has been voted the World’s third best cheese shop and when you visit you will understand why. La Cave à Fromage has over 200 different cheeses from around the world with staff who can tell you everything you need to know and more about cheese. They also have a wonderfully cheesey menu and plenty of fine wine, making it the perfect place to pop for leisurely lunch.
The Book Nook
If you are visiting Hove with your children, then you must visit the Book Nook. This independent children’s book shop is an absolute haven. With all the best kids’ books along with special story reading time, your children will love it and so will you.
Hove Lagoon
If you’re the kind of person who can’t be near the sea without getting in it, on it or under it, then Hove Lagoon is the place for you. Hove Lagoon provides a safe haven for sailing, wake boarding, paddle boarding and wind surfing. There is plenty to do for both kids and adults and a good café on site for those who prefer to stay dry.
Kings Road Paddling Pool
Young children will absolutely love the Kings Road paddling pool that is open during summer. Just along from the West Pier on the seafront you will find the paddling pool and park. The park is sandy, so take buckets and spades too. It is completely free and young children can splash to their hearts; content on a hot, sunny day and you can kick back with a drink and ice cream and relax.
